On Site – Long term Corrosion Control

Abrasive grit blasting to international standards.

We have 12 sandblasting pots. Three of which are rigged with dead-man’s handles which enables us to safely blast tank internals, pressure vessels and do confined-space work. We also have a vacu–blast which is mainly used for the blasting of welds before testing.

Application of anti-corrosive coatings

With 3 airless pumps we are able to spray +/- 12000 m² per day on flat

Surfaces. We also have many pressure pots, some of which are agitated for the spraying of zinc enriched coatings.

In House Blasting services

Grit blastingWe have 2 enclosed grit blasting bays, small one is 7m long and 3.5 m wide and 4.0m high. This unit is used for small production line parts. We also have a large enclosed bay 15m x 8m x 5m high. We also of course have a large outside blast area to handle very large parts.

Bead Blasting(glass bead for cleaning & polishing of stainless and alloys)

Soda BlastingOn critical and sensitive equipment, we offer soda blasting that is completely safe and non-abrasive.

Cabinet BlastingOn volumes of small parts, we can do any of the above witha cabinet size of 1m x 0.6 x 0.5.

IN HOUSE- Application of anti-corrosive coatings

We have an under roof are of 300m² which enables us to work in all weather conditions.

We are also fully equipped to run 24/7 when required to.

Yard Space

Situated on a plot, we have a very large lay-down area, and space to store and cure finished items.

SHORT TERM CORROSION PROTECTION

1.) Rust converting of rusted parts, vehicles, equipment, machinery, etc.

2.) Preservation of the above for the purpose of storage, transit, lay-up, moth-balling or whatever.

3.) Monitoring of the preservation protection over a fixed period by means of corrosion coupons that are checked on a regular basis by ourselves.

4.) This type of protection is normally used for parts in storage and equipment or machinery that is being laid-up or moth-balled. It is also used on export goods to prevent corrosion whilst in transit, aboard ship. Systems used are normally easy to remove and in many instances do not need to be removed at all when the part or piece of equipment is put back into use.
